TXHSA — One Voice, One Dream

The Texas Head Start Association (TXHSA) is a respected nonprofit membership organization established in 1985, dedicated to advancing early childhood education and care for infants, toddlers, and their families enrolled in Head Start (HS), Early Head Start (EHS), Migrant/Seasonal, and Native American programs.

Serving as a vital resource for its members and affiliates, TXHSA offers training, technical assistance, and essential tools to support the delivery of high-quality services. With a network of 180+ member programs, the association advocates on behalf of more than 80,000 children across Texas.

A Curated Experience

TXHSA’s Summer Training Conference is a premier professional development event designed for Head Start, Early Head Start, Early Head Start Partnerships, Migrant and Seasonal, and Native American Alaska Native Head Start programs, as well as early childhood professionals and leaders.

This year’s theme, “One Voice, One Dream” – Honoring the Traditions of Excellence in Early Childhood Education, celebrates the shared commitment to quality in early learning for the past 60 years. TXHSA understands that professional growth can look different for everyone, whether you’re an emerging leader or a seasoned expert.

The TXHSA summer conference offers a unique opportunity for all professionals to come together in a supportive environment. Attendees will benefit from targeted learning tracks covering comprehensive Head Start services, including education and disabilities, health and nutrition, mental health, and staff wellness. Fiscal management, facilities, transportation, governance, and administration training will complement these tracks. These sessions will deepen participants’ understanding of Head Start laws, standards, best practices, and policies.
