Parent and Family Support Services
We examine core fundamentals that will enhance participants ability to appropriately assist and observe families, record information, conduct informational interviews, implement plans, employ problem solving techniques, hand crisis intervention, and use case management and referral strategies.
Fatherhood and Male Involvement
The importance of involving fathers in the lives of their young children has been well documented. Although much progress has been made in this area, many programs still struggle to create and maintain effective strategies that encourage male involvement of fathers and significant male figures. We explore options that demonstrate creative solute to these problems and assist program in their efforts to establish successful fatherhood programming.
“Smooth Entry” Project
An initiative designed to eliminate under-enrollment in Head Start programs. Our focus is on assessing the root cause of under-enrollment, removing barriers to admissions, creating innovative solutions to enhance enrollment, and improving overall access for children and families into programs.
