Description

The recent GAO investigation of Head Start eligibility and admissions processes for the enrollment of children has revealed serious problems with some programs eligibility plans and procedures. While the enrollment of some ineligible children may be deliberate, most are due to lack of a fundamental understanding of the eligibility regulations that must be followed by all programs.

This training is designed to help programs meet the challenges of eligibility and admission requirements and focuses specifically on building the skills of staff in this area. The training is a two-day session that will prepare your staff to meet the requirements of the regulations for Head Start, Child Care, and Pre-Kindergarten with confidence.
